We are approaching our 20th ‘death day’ in 2011. It will be the right time to host a grand alumni meet and we should plan early so that maximum number of the batchmates could attend. This idea was proposed few months ago and has been supported by many of our batchmates. We had a thread in the discussion board about the same. Early planning should allow all of us to arrange leave etc. Some of the batchmates already have proposed their convenient times. (Details can be seen on the discussion board). Late July to early August seems to be a popular choice. Could everyone express their ideas about the optimum timing convenient for them.

  I think December is better time as children have school holidays and kerala will not be drenched in rain.
  I also think we should organise a programme with overnight stay so that everybody gets to talk to everybody.

  Hello everybody, lets have some movements about 2011 get together, at least fix a date. As Elizabeth Suggested one night stay at the same place will give us an opportunity to mingle and get to know the family as well. Preetha and Vadakkedam are willing to take the initiative in India when I talked to them last year.

  As Reena suggested correctly, the first step will be to fix a date / dates so that everybody can plan accordingly. Shall we delegate few of our friends to co-ordinate things in different countries/ places. For eg. I can speak to our friends here in UK. Can Suresh and Preetha delegate the things back home? What about the US?
  We have representation in the Middle east, Australia etc. There is still a lot of time, but should get things moving.
